PARAMETRIC SHOPPING COMPLEX :

AIM:
     At the intermediate Stage to graduate the student further on the design of small complexes or buildings Involving technology, structural clarity and services in terms of lighting, Ventilation, movement, fire safety, security, water supply, sewage etc. Trust Will be also in the use of computer for presentation skills and introducing Elements and detail for making building barrier free.

OBJECTIVE :
    The main objective the design problem is to design the project with respect with the new innovation and technology's involved in the new architecture world.
    To train the student to gather knowledge on the given design project based on books / literature and websites.
    The students are to be exposed to expert lecture from expert architect, for each project or design.
To make the student understand the complexity, functioning and salient features of the design project through an organizing field visit, train them to document and present the findings.

The site  experiences a tropical savanna climate . And due to its high elevation, the local area enjoys a more moderate climate throughout the year, with has a blown of occasional heat waves.
     The coolest month is January of  17.1 °C & the hottest month is April of 33.6 °C. Winter  rarely drop below 12 °C, and summer  seldom exceed 36 °C.
RAINFALL :
      The site  receives rainfall from both the NE and SW monsoons. The summer heat is moderated by fairly  thunderstorms but no flooding. Humidity is 31% and AVE rainfall is 84 cm...

CONCEPT :Modular design



Modular design is an approach to  a system into modules that can be independently created and then used . A modular system can be characterized as:

  • (1) Functional partitioning into discrete scalable
  • (2) Rigorous use of well-defined modular interfaces
  • (3) Ease of change to achieve technology transparency 



SITE FEATURE :



             THE PROPOSED SITE IS A COUNTOUR SITE IN WHICH IT HAS A POND IN THE FRONT AND ROSE GARDEN IN THE REAR END  .
              THE APARTMENT IS PROPOSED FOR THE TOWNSHIP PEOPLE IN THE HOSUR AND THE RESIDENTIAL AREA IS SITUATED NEXT TO IT .

THE PROPOSAL :
       the problem is to design an apartment for the developing industiral area in sipcot,hosur the concept behind the design is modular way of living where its booming in 21st c where the precast plays a main role and reforcemt is

reduced to reduce co2 .long corridors are provided to enjoy the view and air flow is being bend with the building form

theme__revolution in evolution:

  • +the design problem is to study the after effects of unemployment,migration of rural settlements to urban areas and to analyse cramped settlements. 
  • +krishnagiri is one such locality which needs immediate attention it has large amount of raw material

  • +special economic zone is created with 6 zone in the site providing importance to industrial & recreation zones
  • +The concept of the evolutionary design solution with regard to the present prevailing scenario is being acheived
  • +the deisgn is made with innovative use of technology&materials,promoting a greener and better world of employ ment, thereby creating a green footprints for the future of india

THE SCENARIO AND PROPOSAL:
·         In today’s context, urbanization is taking place rapidly.
·         The influence of urbanization is felt all over the world and also in Krishnagiri but not to a greater extent as in other surrounding areas.
·         Thus the main aim of the design is to create complete functional set -up where both the production and the sale of every commodity in a particular field are present in the immediate vicinity, with close proximity to each other.
·         The first step is to analyze the present state of unemployment, underemployment, population migration, slum development.
·         By relating the present state of under development and need for the economic progression the proposed design context is to create an urban platform.
·         Our proposal will be in such a way that will bring uplift to the economical, social, industrial, through a sustainable approach.
